Jon at Work
 
Jon works at the Polk County Vocational Center. Jon's job used to be pulling thread off of cones for a local mill, though he didn't like that job very much. Currently he has a job folding boxes which he loves, though that contract will soon end. Because of lack of government funding, vocational centers across the country are being challenged to come up with creative solutions to stay in business. In small counties where there isn't much industry, vocational centers like Jon's have an even more difficult time finding and maintaining contracts with local businesses.
